UGA The Bulldog is UGA X and the Tenth of His Line

The UGA English Bulldog Line at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA has a long and storied history. The line began in 1956 when the first UGA mascot, a white English Bulldog named “Hood’s Ole Dan,” was adopted. Since then, the line has been a source of pride and tradition for the university.
The current mascot, Uga X, is the tenth generation of the line and has been in service since 2015. Uga X is the first mascot to be born and raised in Athens, GA.
The line has been featured in several movies, including “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and “My Dog Skip.”
The UGA English Bulldog Line is a beloved part of the University of Georgia’s history and culture.
